The Cargo Birkin

Hermès' new limited edition 'Cargo Birkin' makes us wistful for traveling in style. The Cargo is today’s perfect travel companion, in that it is both practical and elegant. In the classic 35cm size, this bag is primarily made of Toile Canvas, making it lightweight and durable — and accented with Swift calfskin leather. It has a large interior to carry everything needed for a weekend jaunt or all the essentials for a leisurely flight. The Cargo’s outside multiple pockets and slots on its front and back makes our electronics, credit cards and important documents (e.g. our Covid vaccine card or Covid test results) readily accessible.  It comes with a removable cup holder, making it easy to tote a cup of coffee or bottle of water.  Remove the cup holder and the bag has the perfect symmetry expected of a Birkin.

The Cargo Birkin is not specific to travel. It makes a great day bag for going to the Gym carrying a laptop to the office or having a picnic outdoors.

Available in 35cm, the Cargo Birkin is for both men and women. It comes in a several colors, including sesame, gold, blue marine and light blue. It is also available in a 40cm HAC, in khaki green.
